About Wooden Restorations

Wooden Restorations came about as a result of over twenty years experience in the repair and restoration of furniture as a hobby. What started out as a labor of love on home furnishings grew slowly into projects of gifts for friends and family and has finally evolved into a full-time vocation.

I worked for over twenty years in sales management and marketing in IS/IT and Telecommunications. With the occurence of the dot.com collapse, I realized that there was more to life than the highs and lows of the corporate rat race. I finally decided to do something for a "living" that I truly enjoy and can take real pride in. And so Wooden Restorations has become a reality instead of a quiet dream.

Our Mission

Our goal - our mission if you will - is to provide a quality of service and finished products that fully satisfy our clients. We strive to be the best that we possibly can and cut no corners in the completion of our work. Customer satisfaction is our hallmark - if for any reason our clients are not completely satisfied, we encourage them to let us know.

Give us your tired, your poorly cared for, your broken, your trodden and cast aside wooden furnishings. In return we promise you lovingly restored, beautiful, unique and highly desirable furnishings for your home or office.

This was a delightful experience from our beginning encounter with Rich. His description of our wait time and his service and fees was 100% accurate. His desire to get the stain color accurate was meticulous and we couldn’t be more delighted with the results. These beautiful , old dresser chests were chewed up during a relative’s stay in skilled care, but you would struggle to find the broken corner or the multiple, deep scratches to look at them today. What a wonderful craftsman he is!
